The 2nd Rule of the chapter “Don’t Try” is “To not give a fuck about adversity, you must first give a fuck about something more important than adversity.”
As the quote clearly states, you need to find something more important than adversity, Which basically tells you how crucial and meaningful problems are in your life. Everyone goes through life with the problems whether they like it or not, and it totally sucks. So Dealing with them is Inevitable in our lives which we cannot run away or ignore.
As we know that things which are inevitable and cannot be avoided the simple fact is to accept the reality and choose to act according to it which goes by saying that you need to have Values and Priorities that should be your main focus in life. As for example the moment when you find yourself in the meeting that determines that job that you always dream off will gives you a sense of Anxiety and Nervousness.
On that particular time you don’t think about; your problem with neighbor or the problem with your parents or anything like that because you have something as a Priority and you are a few inches away from achieving that goal of yours so you don’t give a fuck about things that truly doesn’t matter or less likely you don’t even think about it for a moment because you already know what is important and truly meaningful things infront of you!
So in life where we deal with the lots of problems we also and always have a choice to find what is much more meaningful and in the way pursuing that choice may find the same problems that sucks and irritates but this time you know why you should need to keep on going: You made the Choice, Important than any other problems, Top Priority in your life that you’ll say No to every other single thing!!!
